This example of single-cylinder racebike design has been careful restored by a team of Master Technicians at AMS Ducati Dallas using all Ducati OEM genuine parts. This refined and elegant four-stroke single was the product of designer Pierre Terblanche in conjunction with the vision of Massimo Bordi and technical implementation of Claudio Domenicali. A large variety of high-tech components and features (liquid cooling, electronic injection, twin con-rods) combined to create the single most competitive motorcycle in its class.

The water-cooled, 4-valve single-cylinder engine was designed by current CEO of Ducati Motor Holding ,Claudio Domenicali, in collaboration with Massimo Bordi and Gianluigi Mengoli to race in the “Sound of Singles” Championship. The Supermono immediately became popular for its design and sophisticated technology. Though its production lasted only two years, from 1993 to 1995, with a total production of 67 bikes, the Supermono is now one of the most sought-after models by motorcycle collectors throughout the world.
